Level 2 Assist at Forest School

Our accredited Level 2 Assist at Forest School course qualifies you to be a Forest School Assistant. It will extend your professional development and enable you to competently assist a Forest School Leader during Forest School sessions. This training is suitable for those planning to work alongside a Forest School Leader. Our Level 2 students train alongside our Level 3 students thus gaining the benefit at times of a more in depth level of learning.

Our Level 2 Assist at Forest School training is taught through 4 units of work covering the full range of essential Forest School Assistant skills.

All our courses are held in our beautiful woodland site and next door classroom in Swaffham Bulbeck just outside Cambridge. The village is linked to Cambridge via cycle path (route 51) there is a bus service, village shop and pub. There is free parking available at the venue which also has a kitchenette with fridge.

Attend all training days

Collect evidence during training for your workbook

Complete a workbook of evidence to include work completed during training and self study.

Joining Requirements

You must be 16 or over and hold a Level 1 Forest School/Outdoor Learning qualification or at least 1 GCSE.  This 4 day course covers a lot of information and requires you to complete a portfolio. To do this you must work/volunteer in a Forest School setting after the course; so, you will need to establish a link with a Forest School Level 3 practitioner, have a current DBS check and some experience of working with groups.
