Level 2 Assist at Forest School

This Level 2 Forest School training is designed for those who wish to assist a Forest School leader during forest school sessions. It’s hands on course where you learn how to safely use tools and fire and come away with a bank of activity ideas to use with your groups. We teach you about the natural environment in our beautiful woodland setting near Cambridge where all our courses are held.

Summer block course

12th- 15th August 2019

4 full training days 9.00am – 4.30pm

Woodland Skills day 6th September 2019 9.30am – 4.30pm

Joining Requirements

You must be 16 or over and hold a Level 1 Forest School/Outdoor Learning qualification or at least 1 GCSE.  This 4 day course covers a lot of information and requires you to complete a portfolio. To do this you must work/volunteer in a Forest School setting after the course; so, you will need to establish a link with a Forest School Level 3 practitioner, have a current DBS check and some experience of working with groups.
