Level 3 Forest School Leader training
Our accredited Level 3 Certificate in Leading Forest School course trains you to be a qualified Forest School leader enabling you to embed Forest School at your setting. It will extend your professional development or even take your career in a new direction. This training is suitable for those working in education, social care, forestry and countryside employment, childminders and anyone who regularly works with groups outside.
Our Level 3 Forest School Leader training is taught through 5 units of study covering the full range of essential Forest School skills.

All our courses are held in our beautiful woodland site and next door classroom in Swaffham Bulbeck just outside Cambridge. The village is linked to Cambridge via cycle path (route 51) there is a bus service, village shop and pub. There is free parking available at the venue which also has a kitchenette with fridge.

Attend all training days
Collect evidence during training for your workbook
Complete a workbook of evidence to include work completed during training and self study.
Joining Requirements
Minimum of Level 2 Qualification in Education, Youth Work, Childcare or Level 2 Qualification in Forest School, Countryside, Woodland Management and at least two years experience with client groups. It is useful to have an established link with a client group and access to a potential Forest School Site. Age 21 years or over at the start of the course. Trainees must hold an enhanced DBS before working their client group.
