2 day Forest School First Aid Course

All Forest School Leaders require a current first aid certificate with an outdoor element. We strongly recommend that you hold a  Forest School Outdoor First Aid qualification.

This Forest School First Aid course is 2 days (16 hours) paediatric and outdoor first aid course. This course meets Ofsted first aid requirement for registered child-minders and nannies under the Department for Children, Schools and Families Approved Carers Scheme.  Also, the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework. The certificate is valid for 3 years.

Included in the course is potential illnesses and injuries of babies and children as well as those of adult helpers working outdoors. Firstly we cover basic first aid skills and the second day is incident management in an outdoor space. First Aid training is run by First Aid Academy.

1 day Outdoor First Aid Course

This outdoor first aid course tops up a regular 8 hour first aid certificate. Most importantly, you will be equipped to manage emergency first aid in an Outdoor setting.

This course covers all elements of outdoor first aid covered on any Forest School first aid course.  Participants will receive a certificate from our partner training company First Aid Academy. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
