I’m Toni and I’m the Forest School and Outdoor Learning Trainer at Cambridge Forest Schools. Following a BA (hons) in 3D design, I spent many years travelling and working around the globe. Employment included teaching English and working on organic farms with a short stint as an extra in Lord of the Rings. On my return to the UK, I trained as a Primary School teacher and worked in the Early Years sector for 5 years. In 2012 I trained as a Level 3 Forest School Leader and in 2016 completed my Level 4 Forest School and Outdoor Learning trainers qualification.
I set up Cambridge Forest Schools back in 2013 and have worked as a Forest School leader in schools around Cambridge ever since. I now train other people to be Forest School and Outdoor Learning practitioners, so they can bring all the benefits of learning in the great outdoors to their groups.
My free time is largely spent with my family who also love being outdoors. We like to spend time in our woods, playing in the garden and especially enjoy camping trips. In my spare time, I love crafting, crochet and cooking.
I’m Will. Dad of 3, Forest School Leader and Philosophy teacher. In my spare time I can either be found cooking or playing golf, however most recently you will likely find me preparing and writing essays for my Masters degree in Philosophy.
I am passionate about my role in enabling children to become independent learners, critical thinkers and how best they can participate with the great outdoors.
I’m Meena – a mummy, outdoor lover and cricket fan. I look after the social media side of things here at Cambridge Forest Schools.
I’m passionate about getting children outdoors, enabling them to explore their natural environment, develop coordination and gain self-confidence.
When I’m not working, you’ll either find me with my nose in a book or exploring green open spaces with my family.
