I’m Toni and I’m the lead Forest School and Outdoor Learning Trainer at Cambridge Forest Schools. In 2012 I completed my Level 3 Forest School Leader training and I have been working with schools and charities running Forest School programmes ever since. In 2016 I completed my Level 4 Forest School and Outdoor Learning trainers qualification. During this short time, I have facilitated workshops at the Cambridgeshire Forest School conference, University of Cambridge Education Festival, the Cambridge STEAM festival and presented at the University of Cambridge Festival of Climate and Sustainability. My professional development portfolio most recently includes co-writing ‘Whittling Away’ a children’s picture book on how to whittle with local children’s author Anita Lehman.
My free time is largely spent with my family who also love being outdoors. We like to spend time in our woods, playing in the garden and especially enjoy camping trips. In my spare time, I love crafting, crochet and cooking.
I’m Will. Dad of 3, Forest School Leader and Philosophy teacher. In my spare time I can either be found cooking or playing golf, however most recently you will likely find me preparing and writing essays for my Masters degree in Philosophy.
I am passionate about my role in enabling children to become independent learners, critical thinkers and how best they can participate with the great outdoors.
I’m Rachel. Having worked in marketing for sustainable organisations since 2003 (including Cambridge Baby and Divine chocolate) , I now take care of marketing for Cambridge Forest Schools. I always loved spending time outdoors and was introduced to the idea of Forest School when my children went to a Steiner Kindergarten and outdoor playgroup Woodmice. I’ve since attended some of our training courses and assisted at Cambridge Forest School sessions at a local primary school.
